same as myself. rebel XTi with a battery grip. the first one he shot of me owning that 40, was with a 70-200 F/4L, and all the rest is with a sigma 10-20mm. he has a 580exII, and a vivitar flash in the fire picture. both on the ground fired with a set of pocketwizards.

i just have a 430ex. no triggers yet. im still new to flash stuff. haha.

thanks it was, no i dont know anything but they were in high elevation and liked a wet climate (rain forest) but were vert cool to look at!

Do you actually have a flash, or are you just talking about the 'pop up' flash that comes with the cam?

yeah im looking for a good flash right now. lighting makes or breaks a photo, those bonfire shots are very nice!

On board flashes suck! Get a new flash and you will love it.

yup. get one with a PC port, so you can shoot off camera without the adapter thingy. nikon has better flash stuff than canon.
