You'll have to decrease the shutter speed as well to make sure it stays exposed correctly. I'd suggest using a tripod just in case your shutter speed becomes slow enough to start getting motion blur in your pictures

NO electricity and NO ONE there. It was excellent until temps dropped to 30 ish at night and rain started coming.

Took some photos of my friends Raptor last night. Lighting was not so good, and I'm only using a D40 with a stock lens. I think they came out alright though. Let me know what ya think.

My tripods leg is broken, so this photo is crooked.

My brother told me this one looks like garbage, I know its overdone, but what ever. Any comments are appreciated though. I'm only 16, still learning about this photography stuff. I'm pretty good in photoshop, but can still use some improvement for sure.

Stop boosting your hue/saturation so much. It kills the truck more than it helps it. That last picture might be good if the entire truck including wheels/tires weren't blue... Anyways, not bad, just keep shooting!

Thanks man, its not hue/saturation though. I went back and looked at it, and for some reason, I put a cooling filter on it. That is what gave it the blue effect. Working on version 2.0 now, no more blue tires haha.
