Lucky7. if I were to get all cerebral, I would say your last two shots depict the two different worlds of the city of Detroit. To make it as simple as possible, the world of the have-nots and the haves. I could go alot deeper, but, meh...

I agree. I don't care what anyone says, Detroit is still Detroit. It's just gilded with a recent coat of banker-printed paint. The only thing I know for sure in this life is that nothing is as it appears on the outside.


I must admit, however, that the photo of the 'haves' was not taken in Detroit. That is what I like about photography - I get to tell the story.
I've been a bit busy lately and am hoping to get back out there soon.
