Project: power tour

I could very well do that. But I don't want both systems on the car e85,and meth. I know once on e85 I will only want to run that. That won't always be an option. Be easier to run the meth, adjust the boost, and hope the mickey thompson 305 are up to the task.

With that kind of twist coming down the driveshaft, you might as well hope for tires that never, EVER wear out, too.
Haha I'm cool with replacing tires once a year. The power tour will throw a wrench into that this year. We stop at Norwalk, and I plan on leaving it all at the line and see what she does.

Well the rendering is getting close. I moved pictures around on Photobucket and now have some dead links. I will try to get them fixed over the next 2 weeks. I've decided I don't have the time to do the mini tubs, and can't tie up the shop for that long. I'm going to visit the guys over at team Z and see if they would be interested in being part of the build.

Well final rendering is done. I have been stacking up parts for the last couple weeks. Still have some more to get my hands on. I've been trying to get intouch with Dave at Team Z to get my car in to do the rear mini tubs and a couple other things. When I stopped by a couple weeks ago he looked to be very busy. With racing season and time frame I may not be able to take the car to him as much as I want to. I'd rather stay working and pay him to do the work than take time off work and do it myself.
June is coming up fast. If I can't get the car into him I will be tearing into early April. I'll be taking plenty of pictures.

Got to get some questions answered from dts about the rearend today. Spindles are done at the powder coater. New rack and bushings came in yesterday. Front and rear bumper supports will be here tomorrow.
After talking to dave at team z our schedules aren't going to work out for them to do the mini tubs and suspension work. Going to stop by next week and order the parts from them. Hope to have some of the ride tech parts in early april.

I'm going to have a ton of pictures whats the ball gets rolling.

Still waiting on a couple parts so I can swap out the front suspension. Than off to Diamonds to switch up some of the turbo piping.

Everything is in so I can get started this weekend. Alittle bit sooner than I thought, but I'm sure I won't complain about the extra time.

Thank you. Not much this year. Building a set up for next year to put down 800 to the rear tires. No need to get out of hand. This car will be completely custom in and out like I have done some of my other personal projects. I picked up a sn95 dash and interior to do some swapping when time allows.

Just curious, why the rack and k-member swap? Appearance?

As for the strut, the black part should be installed on the top of the spring before installing it into the caster camber plates. You may need after market caster camber plates to use the coil overs.

I wanted to run chromoly k member. I knew the stock arms and coil springs weren't going to cut it to get me the look I wanted height wise. I'm still waiting on the right front strut parts to show up. I've got the coil over parts to move the car around until they show up.
Thanks on the help with the coil over mounting. I didn't think the way I had it was right.

Previous owner cut swaybar mounts off to build the turbo kit. I plan on driving this car and not having a swaybar isn't an option. I had no idea the cut's where this bad. Have a couple area's to fix before welding the mounts back on.
Had the mini's help me with the start of the mini tub project.
I guess the trunk being full of extra parts kept me from seeing the ice & water material. I don't think this is the use they had in mind for the product.

Just a couple teasers, since you didn't make it by to take spy photos. Lol.
