Ok now I'm jealous I thought the blue on my car was insane. But that color is so bad ass in should be illeagal.
 
Just so everyone knows, CobraTom fucked me over on this deal hard. So much for a mans word and a handshake!!!! After I bought my turbo mustang back from him, he gave my wife some BS sob story (which i won't get into details) and I felt bad for him having to sell the car back to me. When he picked up this POS roller we made a deal, I would paint the whole car and ALLLLL he had to do was get me stock 5 liter long block for my 92 GT at the time. After I finished the paint and body work, 2k in materials (I have receipts) and over 70hrs of labor I gave the car back to him on good faith he would find me a motor and install it as agreed. Well needless to say my 92 GT sold as roller because he didn't come through and now it's nearly a year later and he doesn't even have the fucking respect to give me some sort of payment. But he sure as hell took the money when he sold it to Supernotch90 and not offer me a damn thing
 
Wow, when a member has been screwed over in the past , by a sponsor or member a mod has gotten involved ...maybe one of those guys can kick cobra Tom in the ass
 
thats fucked up, a shame when someone can't stay true to their word. People wonder why I don't trust anyone anymore. Sorry you got screwed over Smooth, karma's a bitch in the end.
 
Sorry to hear that. Putting a price on your time is the toughest part. You do good work and I hate to hear these stories.
 
He hasn't repliede to my texts either. I don't have as big of an issue as Jason but I was trying to get an issue with him taken care of also. I always thought Tom was a good member here but this is the 3rd thing I've heard about him. Maybe he's hit some hard times and can't take care of things like he thought.

Have you tried to call him just like he asked you to in his PM to me? If you two can work something out via phone, I have no issue driving to meet him anywhere to collect the $ and get it to you.

He works right up the road from me. If you guys figure something out I can always make a trip down to you................and hit Millers on the way back :)
