Well call me Crazy not like I don't have enough on my plate but the Girlfriend and I signed up for a Cannonball Run NY to La race this summer. The rules are Pre 1979 cars, trucks, vans ect and and can't cost over 3000.00 Sooooooo I came across the little 1974 L82 Corvette 4 Speed shes been sitting for a while and made it 10 miles before the fuel system plugged up and my buddy Sean "1mean85gt" came to my rescue again to get her home. Luggage rack makes it even cooler. Just need aviator glasses and a porn star mustache.
 
He will be using that friggin luggage rack. I knew someday, somewhere, SOMEBODY, would use a luggage rack on a vette. Possible history in the making!!!
 
Yea picked up the Van as a Tow Rig 460 fuelie paid 1400.00 but had to redo the front floors not to bad. I thought I was the only one who listened to George Jones ! LOL . Yuppers The Volare is still in the Garage collecting parts to put her back to street duty. I'll take pics for ya Roc
 
Looks like a good buy for under $3000. I would love to do one of those rallies one of these days. I bet it's a blast. Will this be your first one?
 
Yup it will be our first last years winner was 39hrs 36 mins in a 72 Caddy with 3 drivers just me and the Girlfriend i figure between the arrow dynamics weight and better mileage we got a chance. The Pre 79 rule killed me I was gonna do a Fox Body
