Got the old 307 and powerglide out of the way now i can get to the whole firewall and frame :cheers:

Looking very good. What color are you paintting the car? Are you sticking wioth the factory color? What paint did you use on the engine or did you have it powder coated?

PAINT the inside of the lifter valley... Put some old lifters in it and spray it Or use epoxy based brush on paint. Helps keep the oil out of the top end and returned to the pan faster.

Just don't get pain in the lifter bores if you do clean it out



Its going to be red...not sure if fatory yet....i used just chevy orange motor paint




as far as the lifter valley ...i might have to try that..thanks
