Post a picture of your latest purchase.

The pixels on an OLED TV provide their own lighting, whereas a typical LED TV uses a LED backlight to illuminate the pixels. With OLED, you get a much better contrast ratio without any backlight bleed. You also get better viewing angles with OLED compared to LED.

When I bought my 4k tv about 6 months ago I looked at the OLED. We wanted 65"+ and the price for the LG one was about 9,000. I paid 5k for my curved Samsung. The OLED ones though are badass, just didn't want to put 10k into a TV.

Sheesh. For that kind of money I'd be sporting a 4k projector with a 120" glass bead screen. Glass bead screens are the bees knees, and you can build them for less than $200.

We're still renting, so till we get in our next (and hopefully final) home I'm not getting something that I could potentially not have the setup for. Basements down here aren't easy to find so there's no guarantee our next house will have one and I'm not setting a projector up in my living room.

Ah. Why the rarity with basements? High water table or something?

Wow, I only paid $498 for my Vizio 50" 4K, might not be as nice as the
OLED ones, but for the money I believe I got a very nice set up.

That looks way better than the pic you were showing mike and I

I'm now ready for winter - Bought a set of Chevy 4x4's.
a 2005 Fire chief red Tahoe and a 2002 white Suburban
rescue unit, both from the same department in Maryland,
both very clean & almost no rust!

Now what to do with the rest of the "fleet". I know I'm going
to sell the 2006 Ford Expedition 4x4, I'm unsure about selling
the 2011 Police Package black Tahoe (that thing is soooo nice!)

That's a nice suburban you got there.

LG 4K OLED. Hasn't been much that's been worth buying to me in TVs the last decade. This is the best overall television I've ever seen. Finally a tv where black is black and night scenes aren't a wash of muddled grays. And finally started getting into reality price wise for the holidays.

OLED is the shit. Every day I say a little prayer my Plasma never dies since I wont be able to replace it. If OLED is affordable, Ill go that route, If not Ill be hitting you up for projector and screens I need to go buy lol.

Only problem I have with OLED is you have to worry about burn-in and color drift.

2015 Heartland Trailrunner 31ft, sleeps 10 people, super slide-out, bathtub, and slide out rear bike rake, the dealer didn't want it sitting on the lot through another winter. Made a lowball offer and the went for it.
