Yes. There's a hella long waiting list. But now they've worked out the production bugs and are supposedly shipping thousands per week so they should clear through it pretty quickly.Have they started shipping these yet?
There's a lot of action in that space. Also a standalone security system with a lot of cool features called Canary (nearly $2mm on their IndieGoGo campaign).Id purchase a Raspberry Pi and Arduino board and control the A/CNest, furnaceNest, garage door, and lightsPhilips Hue, along with the door locksLockitron, Unikey. Tunnel it over SSH so Im not susceptible to ARP poisoning attacks to spoof my credentials...and Im good.
I guess I am a bit more forgiving because I've been in those shoes with a brand new product.I pre-ordered one of those a YEAR ago and still haven't gotten it. Cancelled my order last week. That kwikset looks a little better in some respects personally but I cant wait to see both in the flesh.

It's standalone right now. The security system is a different company. Here it is: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/canary-the-first-smart-home-security-device-for-everyoneAh, I didnt know it as an accessory to a security system...looked like a standalone unit on the website. Pretty cool.
