I'm going to upload the videos but watch out in the very back... It's all screwed up... They even brought out the deuce to pull people out... They snapped a 55k lbs Bubba rope in the process...

And if you go by the white slime pile see if you can find my headlight... :icon_bigg

I haven't been out there in a couple years. My grandpa and I used to always take his 65 bronco out there. Very mild looking but very capable. Same route I'm going to try to take this Jeep. Maybe a small lift and 33s, 8.8 locker rear, Durango steering box, the usual. Lol

My old XJ on 31s went EVERYWHERE. I think you can get away with 33s on a 4.5 inch lift and some trimming. Nice ride.

People are running 32s and 33s on stock height or 2 inch lifts. With trimming of course but nothing extreme. All about low center of gravity. I'm trying to run stock flairs for a while so I'm doing a fair amount of research before I do anything. Not worth cutting up a very rust free body.

Right on, I had a 3 inch lift and my 31s would be stuffed in the wheel wells pretty dang good under medium flex, I think I'd want a little more lift to run 33s for articulation.

I sure as hell miss my XJ.

I agree on flex, from what I'm finding people are using bump stops to limit up travel and focusing on droop. Which is fine with me. I just want to get twisted on some trails and crawl along like a Jeep should. Lol

Now that the house has full wifi, time to take it out to the garage. Picked up another D-Link DIR-825 for $25 on eBay, which is a bargain and a half. I paid $100 new for my current one a year ago.

check out the go carts in pigeon forge. i had a blast on them haha. there was a sweet steakhouse on the main strip in Gatlinburg, great food!

Man I was just there this past weekend.

Check out the Ole Moonshine Distillery in Gatlinburg, and take 441 through the smokey mountain national park to cherokee, NC. The views are incredible.

Thanks guys, I will look into it! We are going to clingmans dome, the riply aquarium and museum also.

Picked up a 98 Cherokee Sport. Needed a motor so NOTHING was tested before purchase, dropped a motor in and went for "testing" which turned into going 4 wheeling. :) few more things to do then I'm going to try to make it to Bundy Hill soon with another guy from work. (after we fix his snapped radius arm)

Nice, tons of after market on CL for these too! Remember a ranger bolt pattern will fit too for wheels.

Yea I've got a ton of options with 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Its going to get a ranger/explorer 8.8 limited slip rear axle soon. I was tempted to by some boss motorsports 20" wheels and tires from work cuz I could get them cheap. But I just can't bring myself to put them on a Jeep. Lol

I'd purchase 3+ of these..

Id purchase a Raspberry Pi and Arduino board and control the A/C, furnace, garage door, and lights, along with the door locks. Tunnel it over SSH so Im not susceptible to ARP poisoning attacks to spoof my credentials...and Im good :).

My use of that locking system would only be interior installed. If the intruders can manage to get past the exterior entries, I'm screwed no matter what at that point.
