Vibram Five Fingers TrekSports
TrekSport-m4485.jpg

I wanted to try a pair of these, but they don't make them in size 15. Maybe they are scared people would mistake footprints in the mud for Bigfoot

The FiveFinger shoe isn't sized like a traditional shoe at all. I normally wear a 10-10 1/2.... this I wear a size 41 on their scale. When you go to try on a pair, they'll measure your foot with a different scale. Also, you should wear these barefoot. They do make socks for them. I have been told by everyone who wears them, barefoot is the way to go. But if you do go with socks, your shoe will need to be bigger to accommodate the sock. The shoe is machine washable if you have funky feet. Air dry and they're ready to go.

The shoes can be as low as $80, but as much as $110 depending on model. Each shoe is truly designed to fit a purpose. So choose wisely.

lol i wear a 14/15 too...they convert, but i bet noone carries them in stock. It's hard to find decent shoes with big asss feet!

Hmmm, looks like I'll have to give these a shot.

Zappo's online is your friend for dress shoes, Eastbay for athletic shoes and just a general Google search for anything else. If I find a shoe/brand/style I like I generally buy two at a time.

Me too but i seriously hesitate to buy a shoe without trying...even sending them back is a PITA. Fila has these 5 finger shoes too. I'll try a few other outlets locally to see if i can trial run a pair. Having big feet sucks sometimes! And i also neeed a big arch for my feet or my back is toast!

I don't have a picture of the lawyer. But if I did, I still don't think he'd appreciate me posting it in this thread. :shake:

The Fila shoe in question is actually a "4 finger"... your 4th and pinky toe go into the same slot. I tried on a pair, and they're much stiffer than the Vibram FiveFinger. Nowhere near as comfortable.
