Platinum diamond engagement and wedding ring set...

From my CL ad:

I have a VERY NICE and VERY expensive platinum engagement ring and wedding band set for sale.

Price is $3500

The main ring was initially 2.5 total carats with a 1.25 carat main stone. I removed the main stone and put it in another ring (I'm not a complete fool). So the engagement ring now has an empty center mount but still has 1.25 carats of princess cut and baguette stones in the band.

The engagement ring was $8500 and the center stone was $4000 of that. So without the stone it would have been $4500
The wedding rings are both are platinum with .75 carats each of princess and baguette cuts stones. They were $1570 each. So they totalled $3140
So... minus the now missing center stone, the cost of the engagement ring and wedding rings was $7650. I'm selling it for LESS THAN HALF of the retail.

Not interested in any trades. Cash only. No PayPal or crazy check or money order scams. I suppose, with proper ID and time for the check to clear with my bank, I would take a certified check. Transactions will be done at a safe, secure place (I'm not bringing a $8000 ringset to the hood) for my safety and yours.

its says right in the description that its the same ring, he just took out the main diamond

It's the same set, but we took out the main stone and sold that. Figured it was easier to just put the new add up rather than deal with the old one.

$3500 for all three rings.

That is correct, there is no center stone on the main ring. With everything, when purchased, this set was approx $11650. The center stone was $4000 of that. So without that stone it was about $7650. Selling it for less than half of what's invested...
