I came so close to getting one of those. Met one at the mall petstore and it was the coolest bird. Walked right up my arm and snuggled against my cheek & neck. Responded to us when we talked to it. Definitely did NOT want to be put back down. It really liked being held.parrots are one of the highest maintenance pets out there. If they don't get what they need they start to go insane, pulling out their own feathers, etc. They also can be very loud and shit every 20min or so. I've always wanted one but after researching them I've found they are not for me at this time. Probably the best lowest maintenance parrot is a green cheek conure, they arent too expensive and are a very small bird, but are very smart. People call them a big bird in small body
They are a cool bird. Do your research and go see some. Talk to the pestores. There is one on M-59 in White Lake that specializes in birds and gave us a ton of good info.the green cheek conure sounds about what i am looking for, something smaller and smart and doesnt shit like a teradacktyl lol !!!
That is cool. I may still get one someday. Just don't have enough time for one now. It would be cool to go cruising and take the little guy along. Then it can sit on my shoulder when hanging out on WW & BSing with everyone. Pirate style. :lol:Conures talk, there voice is just a little raspy, and their vocabulary is limited. Very smart birds though.

I had a Yellow Naped Amazon for a few years and then one day it snapped. It would attack anyone that it could. It bit my girlfriend and bruised her hand pretty bad.
The birds pupils would get small and then large and then small and then large. It was crazy.
