Harbaugh last night said that news reports citing Speight as being out are completely inaccurate. This could be a means to keeping Indiana on its toes, but it's out of character for him to say anything about an injured players status. He's left so many others on the table with speculation that it's odd that he picks this one to suddenly become talkative. We'll find out over the next 2 weeks. Harbaugh says Speights status will be a game day decision. I think O'Korn gets the nod this week if anything just to give Speight some recovery time and O'Korn some warm up time in case it's more serious than thought.

They'll be fine.

I think they will be fine against Indiana, but this solidifies the point that they need to get the running game tuned up. They need to just keep cranking McDoom, Evans and Higdon and save Smith for the goal line (and not our own goal line)

If it's a broken collarbone, he's done for at LEAST the regular season. That doesn't heal in 2 weeks. But, based on the way that they were tending to him on the sideline, it's seems like a separated shoulder could be more likely and he could be back sooner from that.

Yea. The way they were feeling around I got more of a feel he sprained something. I don't think he plays Saturday. OSU is a different story.
