Official College Football 2016 Thread

Class move from a top-notch program. Some things just transcend sports.

:werd: reminds me of when those terrible tornados went through Tuscaloosa. Two busloads full of Auburn players, coaches and staff were among the first to go and help. Not only that, but they didn't say anything about it. It wasn't until people noticed who they were that word got out.

Also lost 2 of the last 3 games, and didn't have a win on the road against a quality opponent.

UW/PSU/WASH/COL are a combined 1-6.</p>— Steve Lorenz (@TremendousUM) <a href="https://twitter.com/TremendousUM/status/803668313347883008">November 29, 2016</a></blockquote>

your thoughts?

Thinking they only need 1. Based on the word of the committee member it was a toss up between Washington and UM

A loss by either would almost certainly put Michigan in.

A U-M/OSU rematch for the National Championship would then be a possibility. Just have to beat 'Bama. :o

More evidence of the end of MSU's run. Michigan is crushing them in in-state recruiting. Nabbed Ambry Thomas who up till yesterday was a very strong Spartan Lean. Best shut down corner in the state, number 3 CB in the nation and number 31 player in the nation. That gives Michigan 5 of the top 8 recruits in the state. They are heavily favored to get 2 more in Peoples-Jones and Irving-Bey.

RCMB is already on fire. There's quite a group calling for Dantonio to be fired.

Dantonio and the coaching staff are fine. After all the injuries this past year, young players gained experience. I'm good for 10-2...

Meanwhile, #1 WR recruit in the country commits to Michigan

The state of Michigan's best football recruit in a decade picks the Wolverines over MSU, OSU, Florida and Florida State

The rumors surrounding coach Jim Harbaugh’s future at Michigan haven’t seemed to impact the Wolverines’ 2017 recruiting class.

Harbaugh, who recently denied reports that he would consider leaving college to return to the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams, landed his biggest recruit in this year’s class on Thursday.

Detroit Cass Tech senior receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones, a five-star prospect, the Free Press’ preseason No.1 player and top-ranked high school player in Michigan by Rivals.com, committed to the Wolverines during a live, nationally-televised event on ESPN2.

Michigan is catching waves to land the number 1 recruit in the country again.
