Official 2010 Michigan State Football thread

HA! Iowa lost to Northwestern for the 5th time in 6 years, 21-17. That just about eliminates Iowa from the Big Ten race. Penn State is up on OSU 14-10 halfway thru the 3rd Qtr. With some luck, it'll be down to MSU & Wisconsin. BUT, PSU's QB McGloin looks great again. He's putting some fear in me regarding that last game against PSU.

DAMN! I type all that and OSU gets a Pick 6... OSU 17, PSU 14

Well, this started out ugly... Purdue 14, MSU 7

Purdue got an 80 yard run for a TD, and then kicked off. The first pass by Cousins was a pick six while getting hit throwing the pass. Cousins was hurt on the play and Andrew Maxwell is now in at QB.

Very lucky game...You guys still need Wiscy and OSU to lose or else its no BCS game.

MSU only needs a loss by OSU. If Iowa beats OSU today (leading 7-3 2nd Qtr) MSU controls it's own destiny to go to the Rose Bowl. MSU holds the tie-breaker vs Wisconsin.

got this on wednesday.

:D

crazy ass game.

Damn, Damn, Damn. I did not want to have to root for Michigan against Ohio State. Too bad Iowa couldn't have finished this off.

MSU is back up to #10 in all three polls. Should be #9 after Oklahoma beats OKST. Maybe even #8 if LSU loses to #13 Arkansas. Heck, I'd also take an Alabama win over Auburn. If MSU, OSU and UW all win this weekend, the only hope is a BCS Bowl taking MSU over OSU as a change of pace. It happened a couple years ago when the Orange Bowl took Kansas over a higher ranked Missouri. Hopefully it happens again.

State is headed to the cap on bowl unless Ohio state loses, if theres a 3 way tie the higher BCS ranking gets the rose bowl, Bama will beat auburn this Friday
