IF MSU & OSU go undefeated - they will have to share the big 10 title. BUT Ohio State would get the BCS title game.. And MSU *could* be screwed out of the Rose Bowl by a loophole in the rule book that says the #1 team from the Big Ten will be representing them, and that if the Big 10 is in the BCS national championship, another league can be chosen to represent in their place by the bowl committee??

This week, MSU is at home to play Illinois in the Homecoming game. Illinois played Ohio St. tough and rolled over PSU at HAppy Valley. MSU is coming off of two emotional victories against Wisconsin and Michigan. MSU has won 10 of 11 going back to 1991. This is the classic trap game. In years past, MSU would fall on their face and choke. Not this year...

OK, so Brian Kelly was praised for making Cincinnati a 'power'. Yet he won with mostly Mark Dantonio's recruits in the few years he was there. Did Cincy win because of Brian Kelly or because of Mark Dantonio. I'm begining to think it was due to Dantonio's (and his coaching staff's) recruiting. Dantonio's seniors graduated last year and Cincy has fallin apart.

I agree with you, though LSU is 6-0 with his own kids. But Saban is the best coach/recruiter in the country.

I wish MSU had the same check book in 2000 that LSU had. MSU would probably already have a National Championship this decade instead of the next. Yes, I said it. We'll get to a BCS Championship game soon.

Got home just before half time. About as expected. Illinois is playing great defense. Currently 13-6, MSU. The Spartans are starting to open up the passing game in the second half.
