Official 2010 Michigan State Football thread

Today's games in the Big Ten changed the scenery a little bit. The only two games I'm really worried about is UM (only because D. Robinson is such a wild card) and Iowa. Penn St hasn't shown any offense and we got by the Badgers. Iowa was really tough tonight. The MSU-Iowa game could be another 15-13 game. And with it being in Iowa City, I'd favor the Hawkeyes. But if MSU goes 7-1 in conference play, I'd take it. I still think they'll beat UM but I don't think the game will be easy.

AP Poll is out and Michigan State jumped ahead of Wisconsin, Penn St and Meechigan. Suck it Skunk Bears!

12 yard pass from Robinson to Webb.

Weasels 10, Spartans 7

I will say that I am impressed with the OL of Michigan. They are making some decent holes for the running backs to get 5-8 yards a run. Their line isn't a shock though. Other than QB, it's probably the strongest position group on their team.

Seems like other than one play MSU is intent on running backward.

MSU's defense has played well, but I can't believe they didn't have a safety playing a bit further back. They have contained Robinson on the ground. I think MSU's offense came out tight. The receivers have been fine, but Cousins has taken too long on some passes and was sacked because of it. Give credit where credit is due, Martin has been a monster for UM and has spent a lot of time in MSU's backfield. As long as MSU doesn't turn the ball over I think they'll be fine.

Larry Caper 7 yards for a TD. MSU 31, Same Old Wolverines (SOWs) 10.

This game is done like toast and there is still 20 minutes left.
