I bought this car from 91Trunk back in October of this year, and I thought I'd make a progress thread instead of just posting pics in the Port Huron thread.
The car is a Pacific Green Metallic '96 GT 5spd. w/ a buttload of miles on it  ... it was was originally from Virginia where the previous owner owned since it was new......SOLID BODY :rockwoot:

I've been slowly picking away at it since I got it, and I think it's made some decent progress.....

When I got it:

I got a set of Romeo PI heads and a PI intake, along with a set of BBK valve covers a couple months ago for a great price......

What ya gonna do? I like early mod motor cars. No one expects them to be fast so it's fun when they are!:rockwoot:

Plans are :secret:

.....j/k.

I'm just going to play it by ear, and pick up parts as I go along.
The main focus is a fun street car w/ "NAWZ" that I can drive anywhere

Pacific green looks good

are you doing an interior swap?

Yeah I digg Pacific green.........I'm gonna try to make the tan stuff work. Although most of the interior will be black.

nice cherry picker dan were did you get it?:chairfall

:secret:

yes you can, or at least port match to the heads.

adam

The gains are minimal I'm sure. And it isn't worth possibly ruining an already good intake.I'll probably just smooth out the runners a bit.

Besides, I wouldn't waste my time putting 4v heads on a cast iron 2v block. I'd just swap the whole motor. Which may eventually happen.

Just curious... What is wrong with iron block? I know the aluminum block is a lot lighter but the iron is stronger and you can do a 60 overbore. Is there anything else?
