Thanks Joe.
I usually run at 6.5 to 7 psi
what kit do you have and what does the plug look like? the plug tells no lies. you have to check the plug or your just gonna go in circles.
what pump are you using?
Mallory comp 140.
Mine has the product engineering 500 pump
not big enough at all believe me I know had one on my car trying it as a single pump powering both systems it doesn't have the pressure and volume to over come the demand while being challenged with the g-forces of a dead dig on spray. you can do the volume flow test while the car is still and it will be fine but once you add in the fact it has to overcome the g-forces it cannot keep up.:nono::nono::893grenad
Greentrunk runs the same pump as mine. His seems to work ok? I wanted to see how much gas it could flow so I unhooked the fuel line going into the y-block and put it in a 2 liter pop bottle and turned the pump on. The 2 liter was full rather quickly to say the least. My first test run spraying was lean but not too bad. If it still looks lean after my next test run after the fuel pressure increase, what pump would you suggest running to feed both?? I've heard of people running a holley blue for both with a 150 shot and never having a problem. I've been told that a 150 shot is around the max for the way I have it set up. If I had the money I would have two pumps for sure but I just worked with what I had ya' know. I do appreciate you trying to help. I don't want to sound like I don't believe you or anything. I would just like to make what I have work if possible.
