No talk of the 2015 Mustang on Motown Mustang?

Here are my photos from the event this morning

Whisper numbers for EcoBoost 4 power are 320hp, for the V8 a bump to 440HP

Best guess at pricing in talking to some analysts today, base V6 to start a little over $25K, EcoBoost will be a $2K option, GT's to start at $32K, no idea on the convertible pricing yet.

+1 on posting pics. I'd be totally happy with just a "Boss" motor as it's tried and true with the aftermarket. IF it were a DI engine it might gum up the mods right away? I really like this car. But it still seems big. It might be an illusion and that's good if it is. I want the hardcore specs now and delivery dates. LOL

Were they able the shed the 400lbs they were hoping? That in itself would make a tremendous difference over the previous model

I would suspect the turbo 4 would be the lightest of the bunch. And 27k is not to bad if a Focus ST starts at 23k. The turbo intrigues me but damn the 5.0 motor is sweet!

The marketing photos posted above kind of make it seem like they're targeting hipsters...not sure if that's intentional or not.

Overall, nice looking car. I'm sure it'll be a blast to drive.

So, about those two door Fusion comments.

Here is the Mustang rear suspension

Here is the rear suspension from a Mondeo (Fusion)

So...yeah...wonder how that Fusion rear suspension is going to work out in a Mustang?
Probably as good as all the current mustangs do with Jurassic park explorer axles in them...

The mondeo doesn't come with an 8.8 center section either

gotta have something for when your fixed gear bike is in the shop

The car definitely looks better in person. After seeing it today, I really like it.

I'm curious how the 2.3 is going to be positioned. How will they offer it and will it and the 3.7 both be available with all options.

From all the reading I've been doing, it sounds like the 2.3 will be an upgrade from the standard v-6. It also sounds like all the performance braking and suspension stuff will be available as options with all engines.
