No talk of the 2015 Mustang on Motown Mustang?

I was just sitting in one today.

I won't say either way whether or not that is the car but I will say that the actual 2015 is extremely impressive inside and out and I have never been a huge Mustang fan.

It is a very sick car.

Those pictures are just artist rendering of what one guy thinks it will look like. The picture of the car on the track in the first design front end.... Ford knows about it and doesn't really care the pictures got leaked since it looks a lot different than that now. If you look hard enough on the internet, their is a picture that a Roush guy took on a hoist in building 9. We have been doing some serious testing on all the power plants for that car. I cant say much except they really turned a page in driveability and are putting down some serious numbers on the dyno on all powerplant combos.

Well we know that there are actual pictures of the car. It probably isn't legal for somebody to post them so I would imagine that a company buys them and then has an artist render the image digitally to avoid lawsuits.

Several people have been caught sneaking around, hiding in the grass, one guy was hiding in a tree and we have even had helicopters circling the plant trying to get a picture of the car.

That Roush guy has some balls, is stupid, or both. That is a major no-no. He could lose his job for that - that's a very serious issue. When I am down in the plant or near a prototype I do not even pull my phone out.

when I have to, I make sure im facing away and my hand is covering the camera

that said, we have a few here, still all covered in full body camo, and covered when not in use, and we are parking them in a different lot, since there was a guy with a huge zoom lense on the sidewalk a few weeks ago

C&D is wrong on a lot of counts. Many people think this guy has a much closer interpretation of it, and he claims it was based on CAD images:

I wonder if you can order it with a live axle option? Or maybe they intend the IRS for European market only?

That doesn't look substantially different to me from what car and driver shows? I guess it lacks the hood vents, aside from that, it even changes the height of the perspective as it pans around the car the same way.

I can't really put my finger on WHY it does, but the blue one in the above video looks way better than the pics of the red one at the top of the thread.

Had to pop both open side by side. The second one has better wheels. The C&D looks like wheels off a 2000, not good. Not terrible but not a wheel I would bring back. The way the body lines go into the quarter panel is different between the two as well. I would be more inclined to go with the later on that just based on coherency with the design of other Fords, specifically the Taurus. The front fascia is not different enough to really mention difference between the two. Headlight detail changes but the grills and their detail are the same and both have the Mercedes fog light areas. Detail at the roof and back of the roof/top of the backlight interface changes a bit. They both look the same as far as overall profile shape and when viewing the rear taillights and exhaust surrounds. They are pretty close beyond that. I wouldn't say I could really point at one and say one was right and one was wrong as far as giving us an idea of what the car looks like at this stage. They are either both right enough for most intents and purposes or they are both wrong.

Those later images look 10x better and they still kept the window opening door sill line proportions proper. Unlike the camaro and challenger which suck to look out of for vision, and heavy looking tall doors too

Rumors suggest that we'll see the car by the end of the year. Now I'm just waiting to see what SVT brings to the table. I have my name on a list for a 2016 SVT car already and want to know all the details.

Two people I know in Public Affairs told me that it will be unveiled at the L.A. Auto Show at the end of November. I guess we will see.

I might actually buy one of the 2015's. Depending how they are priced................. that's gonna hurt my screen name a bit lol :-(
