I'm suprised.

Car and Driver claims they have leaked photos.

From Jalopnik:

Cheapest 500-hp Car?:Ford will launch the new Mustang with carry-over powertrains, but we predict the 5.0-liter V-8's output will rise from 420 to 500 horsepower within the initial 2015 model year.

10-Speed Schwing:
In 2016 or 2017, a 10-speed automatic transmission jointly developed by GM and Ford will replace the current six-speed auto. Expect a whopper of a ratio spread

Fantastic Four:
A 2.3-liter boosted four-cylinder, perhaps launched in concert with the 10-speed, will make this the first turbocharged Mustang since the 1986 SVO. Our oracles foresee 310 horses.

Europe Gets the IRS:
This will be the first Mustang—aside from the 1999–2004 SVT Cobra—to boast an independent rear suspension. Among its other benefits, an IRS will help to give the car credibility in the European market. 3P
8Hopefully they do better with the '15 than they did with the Cobra....I had an '03 and cracked the diff cover (as many did) and what a PITA to get the diff out.

You Got the Touch:A heavily revised MyFord Touch interface will make its debut here, featuring more hard buttons and redundant controls. Diggler approves.P

I like the 2013 better, but maybe it will grow on me. Some of the previous designs have taken a few years for me to accept them.

Rumor has it that the car is light, so I do like that if it's true.

I plan on ordering a 2014 just before production ends, I haven't seen a picture of the new one I like yet. I like the current 5.0/auto combo.

its not as bad as the Mustang II
I think they rounded it up too much (sn95)
a hard top would look cool with the side profile
has chrome been outlawed?
rag top?

I hate to say, I'm kinda over the Mustang. This is not a bold enough statement. And it won't be cheap. They should have brought back the LX notch 50th anniversary style.

The Stingray is more exciting to me now. Didn't think I'd say that.

I work in Dearborn and have seen a few mustangs wrapped up the whole body bra that were making little chirping noises like a turbo and definetly saw one squatting under hard acceleration on greenfield that looked like it had IRS under it.

Those pictures are just artist rendering of what one guy thinks it will look like. The picture of the car on the track in the first design front end.... Ford knows about it and doesn't really care the pictures got leaked since it looks a lot different than that now. If you look hard enough on the internet, their is a picture that a Roush guy took on a hoist in building 9. We have been doing some serious testing on all the power plants for that car. I cant say much except they really turned a page in driveability and are putting down some serious numbers on the dyno on all powerplant combos.

Ok, I'll reserve judgement. I'm just saying the new Vette has hit the ground running. Somebody already got a stocker in at [email protected]! Off the lot STOCK with run flats and A6. Another ran a base/non-Z51 car with tune only to 11.4! They are just getting started. And they look exotic, separate from the other car lines.

Bang for the Buck has been the Mustangs forte. If they can keep that then it will continue a winner.

I'm just waiting for the big number N/A stuff to be released. That should prove disheartening to the push rod (LS) crowd. I'm thinking there will be a lot of surprised raised eyebrows on the entry level and non entry level Mustangs.
