No shave November

I start mine November 1st every year. It gets shaved back to the goat tee after I get a deer, or when Rifle season ends. Whichever comes first.
 
I started letting mine go last week.. Lets see how long i can last! I also let the hair on my head grow back which is driving me fucking NUTS!
 
lol - I went until a few days ago when I had to get a hair cut and they started trimming it down on my sideburns.......had to trim the rest of it.
 
My face looked extremely shitty like Steve Guttenberg's from 'The Day After' and I couldn't fucking take it anymore so I went back to my chinstrap. I tried, but the burden was too great.

Is trimming permitted for this thing? I haven't shaved my full beard off in months, nor do I have any plans to, but I do have to trim it a bit once a week.
 
I'm trying again this year. Two more weeks, anybody that pusses out is getting -rep. Mark, trimming is NOT permitted. :)
 
I'm game although I'm gonna have to trim if I get roped into more work trips. I don't want them to think they hired the unabomber. :D
