As long as you don't look like a hobo you should be fine. Plenty of people at our office with full beards. Keep it groomed and your good to go
I'm German/Irish so when this thing comes in it's game on lol. Unfortunately i'm no grizzly adams so we'll see how long I can let it go without looking like a bum.

We got a bunch of people at work doing mustaches with a $25 buy in, whoever lasts longest gets the spoils. For me it's like a donation as I grow the mustache of a 15 year old mexican kid.

Not giving a shit what people think is very liberating..
Grew mine out over Xmas vacation last year. Downgraded to a goat in July (Amish Mafia wanted their beard back).. got a jump on NSN a week early..
Believe me I agree. But I run the biggest office out of 168 in Michigan/Indiana and I wear a suit daily. Gotta look somewhat presentable. Beard is ok, it's the grow out part that can be the problem!

I agree the grow out is the worst. I grew the beard while I had 2 weeks off and actually started the week before Xmas shutdown, when the office was a ghost town..

I'd kill for business casual and ditch the coat most days. Unfortunately America has this idea that a suit and tie is "professional" because most people aren't stuck wearing them daily. I've got the week off for Thanksgiving, i should be able to "groom" it up till that point then i'll miss the shaggy phase lol

At least I'm not a 'yes' man..... And I'm stuck handling every aspect of the shop, invoices, ordering parts and supplies, customer relations, then i gotta deal with this guy bustin my balls. Damn, no wonder my beard has so many gray hairs....
