Nitrous with a Blower?

Does anyone here have any expierance with putting nitrous on a supercharged car? Is it going to be too much for the motor? What is a safe amount to run? I just need a little bit more power to edge some local guys out. Also should I just skip the nitrous idea and add more boost? Im already at 14psi.
 
Cody do you have a built engine?? 14psi from a KB is weaksauce.......turn up the wick man. Just keep an eye on inlet temps and you are good to go.

Yeah motors built but Lid keeps telling me just be happy with it. I can understand that because he's had to rebuild a motor shortly after getting it back from them. It was lack of brains on my part. I was hot lapping the shit out of it and it broke. He always hooks me up when shit breaks so I don't want to go around what he suggests to me. How much boost should I be at and how do I check intake temps?

If Lid tuned it I assume he used SCT?? If so did he use a handheld tuner or did he use a "chip"??

If he used a handheld you can datalog with that and the free SCT Livelink software, or you can use software like Autotap which works on any vehicle regardless of how they were tuned.

Just got off the phone with lid. The cars going down monday for 2 more pounds of boost and a race gas tune on a switch chip for more timing. He says I should pick up 50-60rwhp.

I had a diablo flip chip when my car had the vortech, one tune on pump gas and another on race gas, it was easier. And race gas is safer than pump gas
 
theres a mustang in PH with a blower and nitrous I think it has a 100 shot on it, to my knowledge its been running that way for a while.

Think Lid tuned that car too.

No one said anything about changing the tune that is put on the car......but datalogging your car is VERY smart regardless of who tuned it, whether that be Alternative, Livernois or even Christ himself.

I droped the car off yesterday. He is going to add some boost, tune the pumps gas tune more aggressively and put a race gas tune on it with a switch chip. He says it should gain 60-80rwhp with the race gas tune.
