Okay guys, I REALLLY want to get a bike around the end of this year/next spring. But I've only driven a few full size motorcycles on the road and wanted to see if I am crazy concerning the motorcycle I want.
I have driven many dirt-bikes and quads etc so I know the shifting, clutching, braking. The only Motorcycle I've driven on the road was a 1994 Kawasaki Vulcan-88 (1500cc) and I didn't have any problems handling/driving it around.
I want with a passion a Harley Davidson VRSC (V-Rod) Night Rod. But I know it's no pansy bike at like 130ish HP.
Mainly my question is Should I say Wait and get something smaller like a Sportster 1200 or 883 to really learn on or should i just be cautious on the bigger bike and get what i REALLLY want.
I'm not dumb and Even riding the Kawasaki I was nevous/cautious so I am confident I won't be testing my limits with a 8000-10000 bike.
I just wanted some insight.
Thanks.
