Oh, now you tell me, LOL. The problem is the ribs on the bottom of the tank. They make it difficult to position it were you want. Of course I tried to get is as close to the tank center as possible. I guess Ill know for the next one.

Pics

I just finished welding the sump on the tank and putting it back into the car. Also a pic of the fuel pump and fuel regulator. Man this cheap build is getting expensive.

Any updates?

Yeah, just fired it up last night. Still need to clean up all wires, fill with coolant, change the rear end, finish the exhaust, and countless other things. Also the car will only idle, just barely raises rpm even at wide open throttle. Need to get someone over to put a garage tune on it so I can get it to a shop for tuning. I will post some pics tonight if I get home early enough.

Pics

Couple pics from today. The exhaust will eventually be 3.5" to dual 2.5" but for now its single 3.5 dumped after the muffler. And I got the 8.5" rear axle in.

How loud is it with the exhaust?

Its not that bad at idle, and revving it is a little loud, nothing obnoxious. I have not yet drove the car on the road, only on the trailer and back into the garage. Hopefully have it tuned by next week and see how it does. I'm a little nervous about the 10psi and the original head gaskets and bolts. Hoping for the best, shooting for close to 500 rwhp.

What trans are you running?

That thing is coming out great!

Using a TH350 with a 2800-3000 stall for now, but plan on going to a 4L80E when funds allow. I have the harness already in the car to run the 4L80E, just have it turned off in the computer.

Thanks.

Just dropped off at the tuner tonight, hoping to have it back by Monday. Only running 10psi so im guessing 400 rwhp.

so how did it do? are you driving it yet?
I would not worry about the headgaskets till 12psi or more
I would not rev it super high unless you added rod bolts but all else drive it! badass ride.

The drive shaft has not come in yet so the car is still at the tuners waiting on the drive shaft before it can be tuned. Yes I did put ARP rod bolts in it. Thanks for the compliment.
