New project Malibu

Plugs are easy to get to, I have to get some different wires so the plug boot will route the wire in the gap between the manifold and the head.
Have you looked at moving the coils? few options out there for better room?

I like it!

Sweet project. Next car I do, I'll definately try to do my own turbo kit. Seems like alot of fun and a good learning experience. I'm assuming all that is TIG welded? Looks great!

Great find.....I would leave as is, except throw a BBC (pump gas) with a procharger in it.

That would be fun, but already going turbo LS

Yeah, it's a lot of fun and aggravation. It's all TIG welded, but I am in no way an expert. Wish I had more time to invest in it right now, but work has been busy.

Doesn't the computer freak out without a speed sensor reference or PRNDL switch reference? You are both using stock computers right?

I am guessing that a LS motor has the same bolt pattern as an older SBC and a Turbo 350-400 bolts right up to the back of the motor? Are you able to use the stock flywheel?

Very cool build!!! It has really sparked my interest.

Raj any pics of your build? Your stang looks great btw

Ridings said he could set up my 400 with a digital VSS, but I don't think I need the VSS because it will be programmed like a stick car.

Thx for the compliments on my Mustang, no pics of the GN so far because it's kind of a beater.

I had the computer setup to run without vss and yes stock computer. The older trans will bolt up but only use 5 of the 6 bolts. A stock flywheel will work, but some of the bolt holes may need to be opened up. You also have to use a flywheel spacer to use an older style converter. You can use an aftermarket converter made for this conversion also.

Bad ass build. You did a good job for doing it all in your garage. Hope to see it out so I can check it out.

Thanks, I just picked up the hotside parts back from ceramic coating. Will post pics later or tomorrow.

Wow great work!

Thanks
