My New project

Well tonight I boxed in the first side. Tomorrow I should be able to get the other side done and both grinded down.

What exactly do you measure from when lining up stuff like that?
From the front of the car (radiaor core support) 24 1/4" gives you the center line of the wheel so it sits in the fender right. From there its just mocking up eveything.
After i found my center line i found the center line of the plates they gave me and the center the cross member. I used a smaller plate to cut the groove that needed to be cut out. Then kept putting it together until everything fit.
Had to grind alittle here a little there.

Awesome job!!!!! +1 on this one. I love seeing progress pics like this. Keep them coming.

Ive watched pacecarbbc do a few of these mustang fronts, I dig them!!

Dont mind hatch, he is used to mixing hardner and filler, not actual welding. He will catch on sooner or later.

Thats a nice job , alot better pics, easy to see whats up now, it looks like tipical GM suspention, should work smooth!

Actually it's called a mustang II IFS. They only use GM calipers, and granada 11" rotors. But everything else is based off the mustang II.
They make this same suspension kit for the Nova too but it's called a mustang II for a Nova.
Thanks for the complement. I hope it does work smooth. This is one of the most involved projects I've had so i'm a bit excited. :icon_mrgr
