tomorrow I plan on cutting out the shock towers and preping everything for the new Mustang II K member.
:badass: :badass:

sure is a nice red notch there :dontknow:  i heard that was the baddest street car around? I've seen it pull the wheels on city streets:dontknow:

Nice. Did you by chance buy that from a MM member who lives south of Metro airport? If so I remember the guy talking about the car and telling me he was like the original owner after it exchanged a few hands. If it is that car it is a really dark purple, not black. Either way a very nice ride indeed!

What are the plans for this restoration? Good lookin' car. Early Cougars have always been a favorite of mine.

there doign a front end swap like that on this show on spike called muscle car, except on a mustang, looks like its coimg along, i know the feeling im doign a 72 nova currently

Well it already has A complete ladder bar set up on the back mini tubbed with coil overs, 9" 4.56 gears.

The car has a 12 point chromoy roll gage it it.

So beides that the body is in great shape only found 2 spots on it that need some attention.

For the front im putting in a mustang II front end and smoothing out the engine bay
It will be completly gutted.
the color is going to be a silver of some sort.

The motor is going to be my R block with my eagle roating assembly with tickflow highports stage 3 ported from bennet along with a matched super victor and a HD 1050, for the nitrous i'm thinking a fogger.

I'm still up in the air on the rims i'm going to use. was thinking of these

Also going to rewire the whole car with a painless kit but add a few custom features of mine to give it a little flare

Have some interior issues that ned to be worked out also. It's kinda bunched up in there I want the inerior to flow together if yea know what mean

That car is awesome! I love the early Cougars, I used to have a 67. I'm going to build another one some day, prolly a '70.

Please post details and pics as you go about the MII conversion, that's something I'm going to get for sure when I build an old car like that.

Ok towers are are out

Took awhile, it was a PITA. seems they were replaced and cutting the stick welds were a MF. SO 17 sawzaw blades, 25 cutting disks, sledge hammer and a few other tools, here is where i stand. I'm hoping to get the new front end this week.
