My 2016 Chrysler 300S nightmare...

I had a 14 Charger AWD Hemi and really liked it. That being said I would NEVER buy one.

My buddy works on police cars down south. All the Hemi cars are eating cams. They need a complete upper end build at around 70k miles.

When I was looking at buying a used Grand Cherokee I was warned by more then one service advisor about the motor problems.

You should look at my eBay sold listings and all the 5.7l engine parts I sell...... Because there is a need for them.

Wanna buy a cam and lifters.... I've got um!

I was told they will warranty cars well after the warranty has expired. He said some had a lifetime warranty on the cam problems. I was to call him before I purchased a Jeep to make sure it was covered.

When the 300 came out, alllllll my friends leased them. I had to do brakes on every one of them. 25k is miles. I've had to do control arms on a few because of how bad they would shake under braking before they got turned back in.

A friend is a lemon law attorney and I bet he has done 3 or 4 of my friends dodge leases in the last 10 years.

Why do my friends keep leasing them you ask?

Ram truck $129 a month
Chrysler 300 $149 a month

If they didn't give these away 50% less people would want them.

yes the first model cars 06-10, different animals now, and there was timing chain recalls 12-14, due to mds on hemi's turn the mds off, or take it in for the recall big deal.

lease prices aren't that now unfortunately

because people modify them, the aftermarket has alots of parts to modify them, of course theres oe parts lying around people swapped out

yeah, but they lease cheap. :) Loved my leased 2002 Durango 5.9 R/T back in the day.

:lmao: I had a 00 Durango R/T 5.9. It was by far the worst vehicle I ever owned. Nothing but problems. Best day was they day it was stolen. But true to form, the insurance company refused to pay off the truck until they investigated me. Took 2 1/2 years and a polygraph test but they finally paid it off.

Nope, that one dropped a valve and shut off. It's in my shop.

Lots of people are buying used OEM parts, they are not just for sale.

talking here and now in the last 5 years, not a 16 year old Durango, oh wait my 16 year old Cherokee running great, and my wifes 05 HEMI jeep no issues 150,000 miles

I only mentioned the Durango due to the post above. it has nothing to do with the issues with the current Hemi's. It's not an opinion on them. Its a fact. There is a inherent problem with the 5.7 Hemi. They eat cams.

In all of my challenger charger hellcat ram forums on fb etc nothing but just a timing chain recall, nothing about eating cama

My 6.4 scat pack challenger has been perfect so far, but I'm not even up to 17,000 miles. Probably the best car I've ever owned.

dline, you think a new Z-28 is ugly/? I lease what ever is cheap, and i get family discount for, i have no loyality to any company. lets not get crazy here.

Deformula. According to the hemi experts here it will lol

Oh yeah i bash a camaro every chance i get

Believe what you like. I'm sure you can learn everything off forums on the internet.

I believe my buddy who works in a shop that sees hundreds of these cars coming in and out daily.
