Mp4-12c

That thing is sweet. I had to google it because I have never heard of it. Love turbo cars.

This car is right up your alley. Fast as hell right out of the box.

Fantastic automobile!

What are your thoughts on the value of these over the next 5-10 years?

Not going to do anything good. I have no idea where the floor is, but it's not like they are going to go up, as long as McLaren continues building it. You can already get a coupe way under sticker. I just don't think you'll see a 3100 lb carbon tub car that's faster than everything short of a Veyron while being as comfortable as a Bentley going for the same price as a 911 anytime soon. I think they are probably pretty much already at the short term bottom, especially now that all the 2012s have the power updates and people are seeing how fast the car is.

McLaren definitely have their work cut out for them as a brand. Gonna be a long time before it enters people's consciousness like Ferrari (most likely never). Ferrari has a line of dudes around the block desperate to buy one just so they can show up at the club and say "I have a Ferrari!" McLaren doesn't have that luxury.

DBK....you are pimp.

Next time I'm planning to hit woodward I will PM you to see the car in person if you are out and about.

Totally different type of car. GT is a really smooth car, but it's direct as a driving experience. No nannies, screw it up, you get hurt. MP4 is like driving a computer that is a different generation of performance. It is a really, really fast car. Lots to like about it. Great sound, mean growl at 8000+ rpm, stupid grip. Picking one or the other is still a no brainer - GT. I always find the GT is still the best taken as a whole. Doesn't hurt that the values have skyrocketed, and GT is better looking.

Won't be the last one MP4 I go through, but you can't hold them or they get clobbered on resale. Already have it a dealer friend's shop.

I love McLaren for their attention to detail. It's like a bunch of super nerds designed the car. This is on my list of things to drive before I die, simply because every review makes it sound like such an advanced chassis and makes the driver look good without much effort. I am jealous. You've got a garage full of my dream cars.

Saw this one today and thought it was pretty good for here.
