MM & 'The California Guy' Present: Annual Cruising to Woodward @ Troy Hooters Thursday August 19th

Here is the reminder thread for the 2010 August third Thursday (August 19th) night meeting at Hooters in Troy. This is our annual hang out with Joel-The California Guy night.

That's right, Joel is in town once again for the Dreamcruise and the Tigers. He is driving cross country in his Z06 to see his beloved Tigers as well as participate in the annual Woodward Dream Cruise.

The new Troy Hooters is located on the South East corner of 16Mile Rd/Big Beaver and Rochester RD. Yes, that's heading east on 16Mile Rd/Big Beaver when you get off of on Exit 69.... From I-75.

We have the corner room (The Dungeon) reserved for Motown Muscle starting at 6pm. People can show up whenever and we'll probably hang out there from 6:30-9:30PM. We usually have 30-40+ show up every year and it is ALWAYS fun! Then we can load up the cars and trucks and cruise to Woodward to cruise and hang out at the lot (until the cops shut it down as they usually do).

Post up if you will be coming (and bringing guests) so I can try to get a headcount. Last year we outgrew the Dungeon and got moved to a bigger open area to fit everyone.

I work within walking distance of there...maybe i'll trailer car to work and show up from there.! Have met very few from here but would like to. But i have to get the cast off to drive first!

Alright guys! Joel is hitting the road this Saturday (7th) and should be here by Tuesday (10th) for his annual visit. So lets round up the troops and show him another enjoyable Dream Cruise time. And if anyone wants to see a Tigers game, you can bet Joel will be there.

EDIT: Just checked the schedule and they are away until Fri. But if anyone wants to meet up and watch the game, PM Joel. He is all over town hitting up meets & shows all week long.

I've been trying. Invited him out to cruises, Vinyl Revival shows, and the MM picnic last weekend. It is not for lack of trying. :lol: But I will see if I can't get him out more and to this dinner.
