Eastside Meeting Location - Need suggestions for Sept Mtg

I was informed last week that Pepperbottoms Warren location has closed down.

In Lieu of that as our Eastside Meeting spot, what other locations would you guys like to go to? Are there any other restaurants with outdoor seating and good food? Deadwood on the westside there has AWESOME food. Even my leftovers were great from last months meeting.

So post up with some other ideas.

Obviously there is always BW's at 12 & Mound. And one time we did Limelight on Van Dyke (Just across from the GM Tech Center). And we used to do Pepperbottoms St' Clair Shores location as well (That one is still open). Once we get some suggestions I will put up a poll and we can vote for September's meeting location.

In case anyone forgot, August is our annual Hooters dinner with our California connection Joel (California Guy). Since he makes the trek cross country every year to be with us for Woodward, we honor him with the Hooters Dinner.

They closed? Truly disheartening. I'll miss their gourmet repast and eloquent service.

Moving on, I wouldn't be opposed to a rotating venue for either the east or west side meetings.

What's wrong with Duggan's? They're east of Telegraph.
 
There's a new bar near Lake St.Clair called The Sandbar, food is pretty good, huge burgers and the scenery is pretty good too...used to be the old Murphys Law. They have an outside patio too.

Its on Jefferson past Crocker, before Gino's surf. If you guys want to meet there, post up and I'll talk to one of the owners and give him a heads up.

Some good suggestions. Keep em coming. Maybe we will move the Eastside meeting around a bit and see what we like. We KNOW BW's will always be a favorite. Just curious if any others would work in the rotation like we do for westside. BW's in the winter and Deadwood in the warm weather.

Ryan, how about a Motown ROADTRIP! Figure a 20 car caravan of musclecars cruising down to take over your pad for a weekend. Your neighbors would just love us. :burnout: :lol:
 
Red Ox on M-59 and M-53 Expressway.. They have a pretty big patio, and I am sure if you told them it was a car club they would rope off the area right in front of it. They do it for the bikers each Monday. Just a suggestion anyways.
