MM & 'The California Guy' Present: Annual Cruising to Woodward @ Troy Hooters Thursday August 16th

Hey guys & gals. It's time for the annual Woodward week monthly dinner at the Hooters in Troy where we get to visit with our California connection Joel (California Guy). He is driving out this week and will be in town if anyone wants to meet up with him and visit.

Anyway, I need to get a rough headcount to make the reservation for Thursday August 16th at 6:30pm. Club members, friends, family are all welcome.

That's right, Joel is in town once again for the Dreamcruise and the Tigers. He drove cross country in his Z06 to see his beloved Tigers as well as participate in the annual Woodward Dream Cruise. Stop on out to Hooters and get your chance to catch up or even to say hi. He is a great guy for those that have not met him.

The Troy Hooters is located on the South East corner of 16Mile Rd/Big Beaver and Rochester RD. Yes, that's heading east on 16Mile Rd/Big Beaver when you get off of on Exit 69.... From I-75.

We have the corner room (The Dungeon) reserved for Motown Muscle starting at 6pm. People can show up whenever and we'll probably hang out there from 6:30-9:30PM. We usually have 30-40+ show up every year and it is ALWAYS fun! Then we can load up the cars and trucks and cruise to Woodward to cruise and hang out at the lot (until the cops shut it down as they usually do).

Hooters is gonna be packed with performance cars with MM and the corvette group in there the same night !

They usually are. I remember all the vette's there last year too. Works out well for Joel being part of both groups & all.

I may have to organize this one but may not be able to attend myself. We have band practice that night since we have a show coming up the following week..... Decisions, decisions. I am hoping to make it down later on but I guess it'll depend on when they start shutting it down during the week since we'll be coming from Fenton after practice.

Bump. I need to call in the reservation Monday. And we need a minimum # of people to get that little side room we usually occupy.

Anyone going to be around that area the few hours leading up to it? I work just a few blocks from it and am thinking about going but will need to kill 2 hours and will be in the daily bearer so no cruising for me lol

There are always a lot of people just hanging around WW during the days prior to Sat. Just cruise around and hang out. My dad usually does that when I am at work.
