LSX time???

Ya, I dunno, blue smoke now, 4 plugs had oil on them and 4 of the cylinders were down on compression, car was fun for the 2 hours I drove it... this blows. I'm pretty sure its not the turbo either

Fawk. Well hopefully its nothing catastrophic. It sucks when you spend so much time on something for it to not last. If I break one more thing on my car this year the fucker is going into storage :lol:
 
That fucking thing is a monster though! 680ish @ 4500rpm.:jawdrop2: Dam....i better go back to the drawing board.

Pretty sure its not the turbo causing the smoke, don't think its blown turbo seals, took the turbo inlet off and there was a lot of oil in it but I cleaned it up and ran the car again and no oil, the second time I ran the car with the crank case disconnected from the inlet tube and no oil, so the oil in the inlet seems to be from my crank case, blow by..

Sounds like you took out some ringlands.
 
No breathers, my crank case and pcv are routed to the inlet tube to the turbo, like its own breather system, so if oil was in therethen its from the turbo blowing oil thru or the crank case, blow by. I ran it with each line disconnected and I didn't see the turbo push oil..
 
ya, it got tuned, but the motor is now hurt, so i am going to start pulling it again. car made 628/648 on 15.5lbs on pump gas, the car also made 680rwhp at 23lbs only reving to 4500, so the car on race gas and 23/24lbs would have easily seen 800rwhp, but all that doesnt matter now, yanking the motor.

Fuck.
 
Idk, I'm lacking motivation now, irritated and have had it with the car, but ill try to rebuild it this year, if I had the time id get it done asap, but I'm lacking time and money

Just to correct you the 628/648 was 14.5lbs not 15.5 and the 680 was 19lbs. When it saw 23lbs the tune was way soft and the pull was so short that it did not make that much power, I don't remember what it was even.

It sucks that in needs to be pulled down again but as always is will come back bigger and bader.
