Looking for my old Ford Lightning I sold years ago to MM member who i believe passed away.

Years ago, I sold my 1999 Ford Lightning black to a member here. I believe his name was, KEVIN. I think at the time he had a new built GTO. shortly after I sold it to him, He passed away. I have no idea what happened to the truck. I think I might want to buy it back (depending on the condition). Would anyone here have any info where the truck is now?

Distinguishing items:
Black
lowered
cervani rear spoiler only on tailgate (looked classy not cheesy)
very very very nice condition. (never saw snow, only saw rain a handful of times)

there are a ton of bolt on parts: exhaust, had MAC and Flowmaster (I gave him NIB flowmaster cat back) bassani equal length headers. sounded mean and tuned. a ton of parts under the hood. A-pillar 3 pod (maybe 2) with gauges, etc...

let me know if you have any idea where it is.

My fear is that it wasn't kept in good condition.

Do you have the VIN? Might be able to get a vehicle history report from the SOS on it and find the current owners name atleast.

There was a guy in the area (south lyon I believe) named Kevin that had a blown red 2004 GTO a number of years back. I think his mother was the one that passed away. He used to sporadically post of the GTO board, but I haven't a clue what his username is or if he's still around. I know he used to hang out @ Bakers in the summer.

Could be the same guy, maybe not? At least a lead.
 
ps, post this over on ls1gto in the great lakes section you'll probably have more luck. Particularly if you know any of the details on the GTO, people will likely remember it/him.
 
I believe that the GTO was Mark Feldmann's car and Kevin bought it from him. I'll send him a link to this thread and see if he can add anything.

Yep, I sold the car to Kevin. His screen name wasn Kevyn. Unfortunately he passed away in 2008, shortly after he bought my GTO. His brother called me shortly after he passed, asking if the blower would fit on a 2005 GTO. I believe my old GTO was going to be repo'd after Kevin died. That's the last I heard of that car.

Yep, I sold the 04 Blowen GTO to Kevin. His screen name here was Kevyn. He did pass away in January 2008, shortly after buying the car that previous summer. I did hear from his brother, screen name Ssoramac on ls1gto.com, that he was trying to take the blower off of the 04 and put it on his 05. I guess my the 04 was going to get repp'd and he didnt want to them to take the blower... That was the last I have heard about that car. Sure do miss it!

is there any way to look up last registered owner by vin number? I have a specific car I want to buy, I just have to find out who owns it now
