Anyone from Livernois Motorsports on here! Can you tell me what you'd charge to CNC port my brand new 243 LS6 Castings? I'm trying to decide whether to home port or have it done......

They redid my current heads after ARE kinda botched them up...well Derty owned them at the time but I bought them from him after he got them redone by livernois...they seem to work good enough for stock 241 castings.

Derty went mid 9's at around 150 with them on his 382 nitrous motor back in the day...they must not be a complete waste of time.

i guess... but they say the ls6's ported flow so much better... and they are only a few hundo more... thats what i ment... :dontknow:

Send me a pm and I can check in the morning, but I'm pretty sure the price to machine yours is about the same as the price of our heads -$300.

We sell the stage 1 cnc ported head which is a new GM LS2/LS6 243 casting
bullet.gif
5 axis CNC machined

Fully assembled
bullet.gif
New 2.000 intake valves / 1.550 exhaust valves
bullet.gif
Custom Livernois Motorsports single coil valve springs good to ~ .580 lift

There is no core required, however we will give $300 towards a set of cores.

This head sells for $949.00 or $649.00 if we use your heads as cores.

My C5 picked up 120 RWHP with these heads, a 224/228 114 cam, Longtubes and an x-pipe.

honestly once you get in the 420rwhp zone the intake manifold really becomes your primary issue. Yes i know guys have made more power but at the sacrifice of Tq down low and that only buys time till 6700 rpm or so if its a stock cube motor. you could expect similar performance from a well ported set of 241 castings. Granted the better port will help the intake manifold a good bit but that intake is really a big hurdle.

Thanks for the reply...PM sent, have complete assembled new heads, so I don't need the valves or springs.
