Little Update

As long as you're doing what makes you happy, that's all that matters.

(I guess we have one less M@ on Motown now, huh?) ;)

I agree with others, being a war hero probably eases peoples minds a bit, whether that detail is important or not in accepting somebody for who they are. I too heard some rumors and thought it was another MM joke, but hearing it from you confirms it. I am a little shocked mainly due to you being Military and your hobbies (still bike?), which definitely goes against the stereotype. I'm not saying stereotypes are right it's just that I have never known a transgendered person. I'm sure it's very tough going through a divorce and an identity change at the same time.

I do have a couple questions, hope they aren't crossing any lines. You were a pretty big guy with a wicked beard, right? How in the hell did you cover that up and still dress like a female? Also, when you informed your family/friends, did you show up as your new self or as a male? If you would rather not answer those questions, just ignore them. I understand.

Good luck. I'm sure you will still be accepted as a member of this club. After all, this club is about the love of automobiles and not gender.

So what happens if they call you back? They have up to 8 years right? Not that it would ever happen.
I used to know some tough ass WM's lol.
Always faithful to god and country.

Good luck in the future.

Dave

I wish you the best! I couldn't imagine living life as something I wasn't, good for you!

I work with someone who went from Kevin to Katie and have seen how hard it is for them sometimes. I'm glad to hear you have the support of your family and most of your friends.

I know, and I appreciate your support. I may need it on HorsepowerJunkies.... :) And you must have lost your damn head if you think I'm trading my TRANS Am in for a Honda anything! lol

That's just the Testosterone talking. LOL

I would like to say as a Christian and as a Conservative, that you have the free will to choose what you do. And as previously stated, I don't have to agree or understand your choices as they are yours to make, in this the greatest country in the world. Helped made that way by your service.

Life really is pointless if your not happy in your own skin. Really hope everything works out good for you. I never understood why people have a problem with what someone else chooses to do with their life. I say good for you!

I wish you the best of luck, be yourself and whatever makes you happy

So what size rack are you gonna spring for?

^^^ sorry I had to break the tension in this thread

WOW. I never expected that. I support your decision. I am sure that there is going to be some awkward moments for a while. But you are more than welcome to hang out any time when you come up to the north side. :bigthumb:

Hope to see you at the track this year.

Marine sniper + Going girl = one bad bitch. LOL.

Good for you. Be yourself and if this is how you feel, then its just fine with me. I support you 100%.

Yea, I guess you could say Madi or maddy...

Covering the beard can be a little tricky. When I was in High school I didn't have much facial hair so I never had to hide any. But until now, I'd have to give it a fresh shave, and then rub lipstick on the beard area under the foundation. It's an old crossdresser trick. It helps fill in your pores a bit I suppose. I got good at doing my own make up by watching videos on you tube and lots of trail and error. It's hard when you gotta learn this stuff alone. I'm not really having a problem my facial hair any more because Hormones makes a lot of it fall out. Plus I've been doing laser, so there isn't much left any more.

For how I introduced myself to everyone, I had to do it as a guy, as they've known me my whole life. It's the very least I could do and it shows a little respect for their feelings and how they've known you all these years. Being dressed would be too much of a shocker for them all at once.

I still will race mountain bikes this year if I stay in Michigan.
You'd be surprised at how many people in the Military are gay. It's many LGBTs are take a road like that in their life due to being in denial or trying to maintain a focus or both like in my case.

So what happens if they call you back? They have up to 8 years right? Not that it would ever happen.

I finished my 8 years in 2008 so I'm out of their reach. But I will probably still deploy again in the future.

Thanks Man.

Whatever brings you happiness and inner peace.

I'm going to be getting mu augmentation in about 4 weeks and It'll be a C cup, and Hormones will do the rest.

Knew I'd find it somewhere in this thread......;)

Seriously though, good luck with your "new" life. Only you can guage your quality of life. Trust me, I'm not here to judge others, just myself.

Thank very much.

I may be out there. :)

Guess nudes are better than "You wanna F&ck?". Kudos to you, good luck in the future.

I don't think any of you are ready for my nudes yet. lol

Good luck to you in your new lifestyle. I think I've only met you once and I am shocked by reading this but I am also VERY impressed with all the posts on here. I think it says alot about the motown bunch to accept this without any stupid bullshit comments. Good luck to you in the future in whatever makes you happy!!

You have HUGE balls to come clean in public like this!! (especially for a girl) :icon_bigg

... wonder when someones gonna ask for nudes?
I am thinking summer or fall is when that question will start coming around.

On a side note, I don't know you. So what ever you do is your business, it's all gravy at the end of the day. People are people. And welcome back to the boards. And welcome to the Boards for the first time at the same time.

Wow. I gotta say that took some stones to post.... Do what makes you happy and fuck anyone that doesnt like it. You actually make a kinda hot bitch...
