Lincoln Navigator Rear CV Axle Replacement

Found the boot leaking grease during a recent caliper/hose replacement.

Had to pull the big girl into the shop and replace the drivers side rear CV/axle assembly. Surprisingly things went pretty smooth during the replacement.

I was surprised how cheap the replacement was NAPA charged me a grand total of $53.50.









And here she is all put back together and ready for more miles of comfortable daily driving.

How is this a "build" thread? Looks like typical maintenance........

id be looking for what was rubbing on that boot, all the split ones ive seen split in the valley not the peak
