I always take side roads to work. No congestion, nice leisurely drive, and takes an extra 3 minutes compared to playing bumper cars with the soccer moms and multitasking drivers.

What is going on lately with our sewer system? Seems since we had the great flood in 2014, Every time it rains now everything floods. I don't Remember this many flood issues on our freeways in years past

Thieves and abandonment of scheduled maintenance for the irrigation system's in place might be a cause.

luckily none yet. We had 3" of water with the 2014 storm, that was a quick 6" of rain though. This has been slower for sure. I also extended my gutter spouts and poured a concrete pad out back to get the water away quicker.

i had to drive downtown from Romulus at noon to the Greyhound Station at Howard & The Lodge ... lets just say I had fun ... thank god for my Garmin

My wife had to drive to Comerica Park at 8 and was there until they called the game at 6. She said it was a slow drive for sure, both ways.
