This. Not only that, but the OP said he put the catnip in the garbage. Why not show the cops it was catnip, instead of arousing suspicion by putting it in the garbage?

I don't think I've ever heard of the police wasting this much time for such a small amount. I have a feeling there is more to this story than we're getting.

Smoking weed isn't a big deal to me, but I surely wouldn't endanger my freedom, material possessions or my standing as fit parent (Don't have kids, don't really care about the last one) for it.

I have full custody and all rights to my child. Also it wouldnt matter because of this the law states (c) A person shall not be denied custody or visitation of a minor for acting in accordance with this act, unless the person's behavior is such that it creates an unreasonable danger to the minor that can be clearly articulated and substantiated.
You were arrested, pretty sure that creates an unreasonable danger blah blah blah...............

Fuck them all. The courts just want money. Every chance cops get to make a quick buck for the city, they take. Seriously??? I dont care if you have a medical card or not. Getting arrested and having your car Impounded and going through all that for such a small amount of weed in your house? So stupid. I'm convinced that the police are just legalized mob. They just want your money!
I dont smoke pot at all. I've tried it in the past. Its ok I guess. My body got really numb and I went into tunnel vision and ate a shitload of pop tarts. I'm all for legalizing it. Its a stupid law to have it illegal..oh wait...it makes the government a ton of money by keeping it illegal. I get it now. But what I'm trying to say is, I'm not a pot head and I totally support legalizing weed.
Also, my dad went through a really nasty divorce two years ago. He's still crushed by it and has bad days. He was married to the same woman since they graduated from high school. And they dated throughout high school. They had such a happy life together and then she went through some kind of mid life crisis and left him for some younger dude. The doctor gave him some prescription pills that numb your brain so your not as sad. He was on those and pretty much was emotionless for a while. Kind of like a robot or zombie. He still did his daily stuff, but he was just not himself. And he still was sad when he was on the pills. THEN...my brother went over his house one day and asked if he would try to smoke some pot, instead of taking pills. He got high and not only did he feel much better about himself, he stopped moaping around the house, didnt act like a zombie anymore and also, it helped tremendously with his back problems and the constant pain he was always in. My dad is a serious hard worker, self made millionaire, super nice guy, has tons of productive hobbies and would help anyone out that needed it.
You all are telling me he's some kind of drugie pothead that deserves to get arrested if the cops came into his house and found a dime bag? If I have to choose illegal pot, or legal pills and the difference is a zombie or my dad, I'll support pot all the ways.

Most people in general have the stereotypical image of a stoner forever branded on their brain, thats just how they perceive pot smokers. Chances are, for every stereotypical looking pot smoker, there are 3 that youd never guess in a million years smoked pot.
