Lapeer dragway has a new owner

The trolls come out and play. Must be a great place to hang out.

Fuck all of you guys who can't see both sides of an issue. And if all of you trolls reflect the prevailing attitude of the new owner, Lapeer dragway is doomed.

It’s been doomed since the day bill started putting money into the track and more people started showing up to race on a safer track. The old owner thinks if he can shut it down bill will hand over the keys to the place and walk away. Not gonna happen

I know that is the narrative you guys want, but the real narrative is he held an even until 3 am and pissed off more then the normal group. Then, with the rallying cry provided by a 3 am track event, the people who have been fighting the track all along finally succeeded in getting the rest of the neighbors off the fence and enjoin the lawsuit. I hope he survives it, but it is a mess he made.

Real facts ? You got your info from someone who doesn’t want the track to operate. Plain and simple. There was only one person that actually made a complaint the night of pinks and they were told by the police there was nothing that could be done because there were no time restrictions.

Dude, you really don’t know what your talking about. I was literally the last car down the track that night, I won the race. Nobody ever even fired up a car from about 10:30 until the final 8 started running around 1:30, so it’s not like cars were running and making noise all night. And as far as the PA system goes, you could not even hear it at the back of the track.
 
He says were going to doom the track because of our opinions on how things have played out. Well guess what im a neighbor to the track i live a half mile away and i work the track also the few neighbors have only received traction due to the previous owner forging documents and lying to get a limitation on the facility.

Bothers me a lot. If everything is so righteous on the track side, how did they lose the first round? There is definitely more going on here than anyone is saying.
