Anyone experience the tech inspection since the track has been updated? I run a 2008 and newer, pretty much stock car and it runs in the 10s. Ive only needed to have a helmet and pants on me to run at other tracks. I read some stuff on their updated website and seems like they would want me to have a handful of things...

Well I figured they would still give you a slip like before. Just curious when he’s installing actual display like at Milan

They mentioned on their FB group they were putting up timing boards. Dont think they mentioned when though.

They already have the frames up for the timing boards, they are coming soon. I don't use them anyhow.

Track has worked good the couple times I've been there but I've been running a street cruiser, haven't tried a racecar yet. The street cruiser worked awesome though, 1.4x short time and faster than I've ever gone on the old Lapeer surface.

I couldn't even make it to the end of the article. I hate people.

I also hate people. You MOVED by a drag strip, deal with it if you don't like it move.

The people complaining remind me of people that move in next to a farm with cattle then complain that it smells...duh. So the track is louder now...you moved in next to a dragstrip. What were you thinking?

Anyway, hope Jennings gets his site plan in order and it is approved.

As far as i'm concerned he is just doing normal maintenance on the property. Its been neglected for years and he is bringing it back into shape. At this point he hasn't expanded anything, so the town can suck it. I'm not sure why the town wouldn't want him to expand with a Motorsport park and RV camping though, they'd get more revenue.

I agree!

This is the same as someone that buys a piece of property and then bitches because the vacant land next door has a house going up on it. Just because you are used to not having a house there doesn't mean there is something wrong. I live near the lake, in the morning during spring and summer I hear boats leaving in the morning and in the fall / early winter I hear shotguns shooting at ducks. Big fucking deal, I knew that going into it and to think it would change is insane.

So far this renovation has been a great gift to us car guys and gals. Sort of a dream come true that we have a great track close to us. I sure hope these locals don’t screw it all up for Bill.
