I personally had some good times at lapeer back in the day. IM glad to see its making some improvements. Will it handle low 4 second cars safely, no... but there are plenty of people with 9-12 second cars that will enjoy themselves there.

Would be bad ass if they put up cement walls one day!

Cement barrier are in the works along with concrete to the 1/8 and fresh asphalt to the end of track.

The track is really only about 25min from my place. We would definitely go more often if it were nicer.

Is the new owner really going to invest that kind of money? I mean if the track got a face lift like that it would definitely draw way bigger crowds and be profitable.
