Lapeer dragway has a new owner

So the former owner does not like the noise, and thinks someone driving on private property needs a drivers license. I do wonder what marks the property between the track and Ed's property, if anything.

Never to my knowledge have they ever raced on a wed. The old owner is a fuck and hopefully gets sued and looses everything he has made throughout the years

It is with sad news we leave the 40th Circuit Court this afternoon with a temporary injunction ordered against the track. This comes as the band of neighbors in Mayfield Twp filed suit with the aid of the previous track owner.

Track operations are restricted to:
Wednesday's 1pm until dusk
Sunday's 1pm until dusk
Holidays 1pm until dusk

All existing track scheduling is NULL at this time. We will post an updated schedule in line with the injunction orders.

Does anyone know if they ever looked at going to a noise limited track model like Englishtown in New Jersey? Maybe they could run a day or two a week with street cars.

Ed is behind it and he is paying anything he can to fuck bill over. Ed is a complete piece of shit in my book but this isn’t the first time he has pulled this shit. He has sold the track before and did this and ended up getting it back with some improvements.
 
Not surprised, this has been coming. Ed had the community on board with Saturday and Sunday, you come in doing whatever and whenever you want people are going to organize and make new rules. I hope they can work it out or we will lose another track. Kinda speechless about the Ed involvement. :Shake:

Absolute b.s the old owner is in on the whole ordeal. Should want the best for the track not to rip the new owner and track its self apart
