I got active in this club 15 years ago to help us get to the track, and I have no problem doing it now. To be honest, I am not really sure what we would need to do. Is it just getting people to sign up? Do we need sponsors? We used to get enough people just in the club to cover a rental and even some meager prize money. If we go $50 a head, how many cars do we need?

That was more sarcasm, usually $90-$100 a head and need 30+ cars just to break even.. i can get 4 hours on a Saturday morning at this rate pretty easy

Ouch, @ the $$$. Why not keep it simple. How about a "Motown Muscle Cars & Coffee".

We could have one in the west and one in the east?

Did they raise the price that much? It used to be lie $400 + whatever we wanted for VHT. I heard they doubled it to $800, but even that seems doable with 20 people. Your number puts us up at $3000? That is something we would need title sponsors for. Hmmm...

I’m still here checking it daily. I think a lot of us got busy with family life which took away from forum life. :lol: The youth never followed behind us old folks to fill the void.

I hang out on a couple boards that are still really active so not all are dying.
 
yeh seems like a few things didn't help forums out, between the photobucket hotlink bs and facebook. glad someone still keeps the lights on here though
