Well I went to that concert last night. I waited outside for 4 hours yesterday just to get a great spot right dead center stage. Well lucky for me these two girls and there parents or grandparents who they where where standing right next to me and this girl start freaking the fuck out about being right in the front. Whatever she is excited, so I think nothing of it. But they will come in to play in this mini rant.
Lacuna Coil comes on don't really like them, but hey they did not sound bad. Next band comes on Drowning Pool. Holy shit do they put on a show, I really dug them. Now here is when this concert start going down the shitter.
Hell Yeah comes on. I was fucking pumped to see Vinnie Paul. Well these people just became total fucking assholes. I was with a few friends. My friend Anthony is not a small dude, and this guy kept trying to push him out of the way to get to the front, and I could tell he was pissing my friend off. So security has to come and tells that guy to quit and shit was cool with that. Then this girl hits this guy, and this guy just turns around and blasts this girl in the face. Then the dude refused to leave security had to jump in and get him. Now this is when my night start to just turns horrible.
Halfway through Hell Yeah I got squeezed back out of my spot by those girls and there parents next to me. Whatever, I had this happen before. Then these mother fuckers behind me just would not fucking stop trying to start a pit. So me and this guy where getting pissed and me and him were just pushing the shit out of these guys, and me and him just stood are ground and did not move, kinda like made a wall. Well grandpa next to me thinks I am trying to protect his girls and would not stop touching me. He keeps saying good job and touching my back.
Then the WRIF had the WRIF rock girl contest going on between what was supposed to be setting up for the next band, except there was one problem. THE BANDS COULDN'T SET UP THERE SHIT BECAUSE THE WRIF WAS TALKING. I was like wtf? It delayed everything. So Seether comes on, the band I have waited the whole time for. Well turns out they where annoying as hell. They dragged out ever single song, and did stupid little interludes for everything. Halfway through set I wanted to leave because of how bad my feet where hurting. I was standing on an incline because I got pushed out of my spot. I was so pissed and just had a lousy time.
