So ive been looking around trying to decide what direction i should go with my 94, im pretty sure im going to do forced induction and buy a blower with my income tax money but heres my problem, In port huron theres probally at least 15 or more 302 cars with a vortech on it, i like to do somehting different so i thought about going N/A but i love the driveabilty of poweradders now ive been reading alot of people talkin about kenne belle blowers for 94/95 cars on the corral what are some of the ups and downs of roots VS centrifugal?

The KB is not actually a roots, it's a lysholm compressor. I would not recommend it for what you're doing. They work great on the new cobras because of the intercooling....without an intercooler, they are kind of a pain in the ass on the street, and a vortech/paxton/ati centrificle will be much faster.

The KB will do that for you, but make sure you get a bypass valve on it. I ran these blowers for years and years, they're a lot of fun as long as you don't want to go really fast.

On the street the ACT's get pretty hot, so pump gas can be a pain in the ass.

Im not really looking to go ridiclously fast i just want a good looking somewhat unique consistant reliable street car that car turn a good number at the track and do impressive burnouts case there so much fun lol i think ill do a lil research and see what i can find thanks for the input

I went 11.40's @ 124 with the small KB and with the bigger one I was going 126 mph in the quarter, but still mid 11's because the posi was blown out at that time and it wouldn't hook. That was on turbo blue fuel though, it was kind of a turd on pump gas. This was around 1997.

Vortech. Simple install and easy upgrade

love prochargers, but vortech's work really well. mustangs are "me too" cars, ie. "i've got a mustang", oh, "me too" so if you do a vortech, you'll just keep on fitting in. anyways i'd do a vortech, the work well and the installs pretty simple. :)
